Hey guys, Love all the writing and pics so far. Wish I were there. I am looking fowrad o your first clue…unless I already mssed it! Any way I though I would write a littel peom for you. I am no shakespear nor di I rhyme well. This is not exactly Haiku but it was in my head so I offer it to you as my offering of appreciation and anticipation of guessing your next stop. Enjoy.

“Destination revalation”

As you have journeyed
through the unyielding repose of the Americas
you have shared with us such beauty
in the simple roadside berries
and kind faces of the indigenous.

We at home, drivers lonely
Await our call to open roads.
Far from the solace of our processed food bags
while you wait in anticipation of
some word of warmth from waitress weary

Revelations anticipated urge the mind to a hunger.
No, a feast for the forlorn imagination.
To what transitory end do our vicarious wanderers set their sites?
To what continent dark or otherwise do our itinerant friends find themselves lured?

On what hemisphere will their next move plant them?
Will they seek the crisp chill air of winters inception?
Or will they encounter the warm breath of summer?

The deductive mind is once again set a blaze in a torrent of thought.
Intimation anticipated while in our tedium answers sought.

I always mean to post a comment, but the whole logging in thing ends up deterring me, because I can’t ever remember my password. I always vow to go look it up and then come back and leave my comment, but I get distracted and don’t make it back. If I checked blogs at home, I’d just have my computer remember it, but since I check at work, I don’t like to do that. Maybe if I go in and change my password from the gobbledy-gook of numbers and letters Word Press assigned to something normal, I’d be better off. But again, I get distracted easily and never quite make it to do half the things I intend to do.
