We took a bus from Montezuma on the Nicoya Peninsula to Paquera, where Montezuma’s actual revenge occurred, and then a ferry from Paquera to Puntarenas. Then it was on to another bus from Puntarenas to our present location in Playa Hermosa.

Up until this point in the trip, I would say for the most part we have been pretty healthy. I got a cold the week we got here and lost my voice, and Sean had a sore throat for a few days, but with a combination of Eastern and Western medicine we were fine.
